She touched more lives in her short life than most do in a long life. I have friends and family following and praying for Riley and your family, too. All of the artwork sold out in 15 minutes and the event was a rousing success. People came from far and wide including one woman who drove from Pennsylvania just to meet Riley and purchase one of her pieces. In 2022, Renovation Church held a fundraiser to showcase her artwork. With her family’s help, she started “Riley’s Cozy Comfy Mission” collecting donations of sheets, stuffed animals, and coloring books for other children at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital to help them feel more at home when they had to be in the hospital.Īs a type of therapy, Riley began painting and developed a deep love for it. Despite her own illness and young age, she had a heart for helping other children who were going through the same trials. Riley was diagnosed with stage four adrenal cortical carcinoma at the age of four.
